Martina Douglas — Own Your ZIP Code™: More local customers, stronger relationships, lasting growth
01

You didn't start your business to become its marketing department.

Most founders end up stitching together a website person, a social person, a booking tool, and a stack of good intentions. I take the whole picture off your plate — one senior partner accountable for the whole picture, so your attention stays where it belongs.

The easiest place to start

Before you spend more on marketing, find out what actually needs attention.

Your next growth opportunity may not require a bigger advertising budget. It could be a clearer message, a stronger call to action, better local visibility or a simple way to reconnect with previous customers.

For $43, the Growth Snapshot reviews the public-facing customer journey and turns what it finds into three prioritized actions — so you know what to fix first and why it matters.

The $43 Growth Snapshot

  • Website conversion opportunities

What stood out

  • Your strongest asset is your reputation — it isn't visible early enough.
  • The website explains the service but never clearly asks for the next step.
  • Nothing currently reconnects you with previous customers.

02Who we support
A provider on a telehealth call in a botanical-filled office

Independent practices

Physicians, nurse practitioners, functional medicine, chiropractic, and private mental health practices. Providers who left conventional healthcare to practice on their own terms and are hyperlocal by choice.

A male physical therapist guiding a patient through a shoulder mobility exercise

Physical therapy & rehab

Physical therapy, sports rehab, occupational therapy, and movement-focused practices. Hands-on care where trust and local visibility matter — because patients choose the therapist they can find and feel confident with.

A stylist consulting with a client in a sunlit boutique salon

Wellness businesses

Salons, spas, estheticians, and med-spas. Founders who are exceptional at their craft and would rather hand off the parts they don't enjoy than build a marketing team.

A bright modern fitness studio with a trainer helping a member

Fitness studios & gyms

Gyms, CrossFit boxes, yoga and Pilates studios, personal trainers, and coaches. Membership and class-based businesses where community, consistency, and local discovery drive everything.

A contractor greeting a homeowner at the front door

Home services & trades

Contractors, landscapers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, cleaners, and other service-area businesses. Skilled operators who win on reputation and local trust.

A professional advisor meeting with a client in a modern office

Professional services

Accountants, attorneys, financial advisors, consultants, and other expertise-driven practices. High-trust businesses where visibility and credibility drive every new client.

A bright boutique interior with clothing displays and natural light

Local retail & studios

Boutiques, specialty shops, fitness studios, and experience-based businesses. Places where a loyal local following is the whole growth engine.

A small group fitness class with a coach leading members through a kettlebell workout
03The outcome

Three things worth getting right.

Your Growth Snapshot looks across all three — because attracting attention only works when people understand why to choose you and have a reason to return.

Be found

When someone nearby looks for what you do, you're the practice they see — and trust.

Be chosen

Your reviews, your words, and your booking experience make the decision easy.

Be remembered

The people you've already helped hear from you again, and come back.

07Meet Martina
Martina, founder of Own Your ZIP Code

I do this work myself, for a small number of founders.

I've built two businesses to six figures in the last four years — once as the founder of CrossFit Youngsville, once as the founding operator who built the entire backend of a service-based company from scratch. Own Your ZIP Code exists because I now run that same marketing engine — lead follow-up, retention, ads, content, and newsletters — for health and wellness practices as their fractional marketing manager, so they don't have to hire, manage, or coordinate an in-house team.

Alongside that, I've spent twenty years working inside regulated environments across healthcare and finance. I understand what security, privacy and compliance actually require day to day — so handing work to me doesn't create a new risk to manage.

I created the Growth Snapshot because most business owners don't need another long list of marketing ideas. They need an experienced outside perspective, a clear order of operations and an honest answer about what deserves attention first. The Snapshot gives you that clarity before you commit to a larger project or partnership.

Results I've built

Six figures, in an industry where half close

CrossFit Youngsville

Founded and scaled a gym from the ground up — built the lead management, retention, and community systems that took it to six-figure revenue.

Six figures in 8 months

Founding operator, service-based business

Joined the founding team of a service-based company and built its entire operating backend from scratch — hiring, website, LLC formation, CRM, and estimating systems.

Two businesses, two industries — same playbook: get the boring backend systems right, and growth follows.
